to love somebody ;

cute drawing yongsheng did in a span of about five minutes. there's supposed to be a "jiayou for o levels" in a corner but its too tiny to be seen.

many things have been causing me much disturbance lately.

extremely heartrending.

sigh.
saw the news today about chongqing (the chinese deejay) getting injured in a biking accident and everything. was rather scary, with him wrapped up here there and everywhere and half of his face all scratched and stuff. and then he said, its always after such mishaps that people begin to realise how much their family cares for them.

really?

thats something that set me thinking. wouldnt be dandy if some misfortune had to befall us again and again before we realise how much the people around us care.

caring for someone can come in many forms; whether its obvious or in the subtle, small things. people not showing their concern in tangible, noticeable ways doesnt necessarily mean that they dont care. ofcourse, if we care for someone, we cant always be subtle and silent about it, and expect people to know that we care. well there's always a flipside, when people consolidate all the little things youve done and realise how caring youve been, but that hardly ever happens i guess. maybe only with the more sensitive ones, perhaps.

okay that was random. i think caring for people doesnt have to be all obvious and everything. okay that line practically contradicts everything ive said in the last paragraph, but agh. old habits die hard.

well what i hope to say through this is not people taking you for granted. its about you, taking people for granted.

have you been taking the people around you for granted ?
