not by sight.

pictures are on friendster. i'm lazy.

disappointment leaves such a bitter taste on your tongue. sometimes bracing yourself for it doesnt really help, but then again, perhaps its a blessing in disguise. we live by faith and not by sight. i am disappointed, undoubtedly, but perhaps its a way to keep me from slacking off for my exams. thank you in advance, for whatever the future holds.

perhaps its more exciting this way, dont you think ? knowing whats going to happen next would make life such a bore.

i survived my fast ! woots. come to think of it, it wasnt that hard, just that my ears were under much torture with the music plugged in almost every hour of the day. looking back, if i tried this in the past, i'd never be able to survive three days straight without the computer. turning it on has become a reflex of sorts, which can be worrying. things are definitely different now. cuz ive got You [:

past week has been a blur, and most of it wasnt spent on revision, but the company and the time spent together with people was definitely worth it.

just realised my holidays at the end of the year are going to be rather exciting. helping out at the standard chartered marathon, going back to sgb, CHRISTMAS SERVICE, holidaying, CHURCH CAMP.. dont know if there'll be room for other stuff. that whole list is going to be quite a huge reward - if i work hard for my exams that is. go fong !

at that thought, i'm still wondering if youre returning this year, (it'd be great if you did) but then again, youre being ambiguous and sneaky about it all over again. tell us soon kay ! you know i'm talking about you, jonathan koh. :D

this week has been deemed be-thankful-despite-the-circumstances week ! think its started on a good note. (though i'm still feeling kinda sore) its hard to be thankful when things seem to be going haywire, but its controlled chaos. in the hands of the mighty One who created the universe, what can go truly wrong? smiles at the thought.

2 more weeks ! i need to utilise my time properly. not just on my own studies, but on the other things which are far more important - eternal stuff. its true - its too easy to lapse into a state of selfcentredness in such times. thanks for the reminder.

perseverance ! at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
