our hearts sing less than we wanted

Finally an update that's (hopefully) more decent than the past few ones whichve been rather contentless and superficial (whoops!)

The whirlwind of busyness known as school is finally outttt and its the holidays ! Soooo happy. Havent felt soooo thankful for the holidays in a long while, though its shorter than the usual March one but its fine ! Happy. So many things I need/want to do.

Looking back, honestly studying wasnt that much of a chore compared to in the past, though it definitely was done in a pinch tighter than any other time before since all the projects basically kept us away from lectures all term. Really really thankful that God brought me through, and for people who helped soothe my frazzled nerves especially before the first/second papers. (: (: Prolly woulda lost my senses without you guys hehe.

Anyway, I found these insanely prettyyyyy cookies studying at my favourite cafe (someplace secret) with Pearlyn ! It was already after Valentine's, but seeing such pretty stuff made my day ♪


The icing's in teeny little heart shapes ! It was love at first sight. I bought some home for my family. :D Woulda gotten some for the Twin but.. it was kinda overdue. Lol. Better luck (more like timing) next time !

I realize the beginning of the year always permits my family to spend a lot of time together (we just had birthday dinner for my sis today) and while its something I'm really not used to, it reminds me of what I'm missing when I'm really really busy with school and that I should really treasure/make the most of it. (: Really learning to appreciate such time spent.

Holidays are just awesome ! And honestly I'm really really tempted (as always) to hole up at home and sleep in really late and spend my time on tons of useless things. Here's what the typical holiday day spent looks like:

Wakey @ 11am
Tv
Lunch
Shower
Spend/waste tons of time online
Shepherding/dates with friends

And the cycle repeats with a lot of repetitions of the second and the second-last task, ahem.

Guess what ! I decided that this hols must different. Must. Therefore Estella has decided that her days will begin before 10am ! Along with a few other criteria that I've set for myself to ensure that my holidays will be used fruitfully. Nothing much to boast about, really. Just putting it up here so that I can be kept accountable for my word and that I wont slack off !

:D It's been good so far. I really dont wanna screw up my body clock, or more importantly, waste my holidays away and look back and wonder how I did it.

The week looks promisinggg, attending a conference at church with a topic Ive been moderately curious about, meeting my lovely sheeep (♥) and other awesome people I havent seen in awhile and lots of time in between.

Last things before I go:
#1 - I'm in love with this. (Ive been posting this everywhere, I knowww) Am seriously considering to do it for mine but still wondering about how good it'll look since mine is white. Hm. But pretty right ! And not a bad-for-your-eyes kinda overkill.

#2 - Paramore's in less than a week ! Still stung about Josh, but still, my favourite band. \m/

#3 - Just in case I havent emphasized it, God's been really really good. Gracious, to be exact. I resolve to treasure and be faithful with what I've been given.
