Been up to a mishmash of activities lately - bball, bday celebrations (and preparations), driving stuff, visiting the doctor, meetups with people.. and the like. Didnt work this week ! Having mixed feelings about school starting, really. Half-glad and half..dread.

The trip to the doctor didnt help me (much), really. I'm supposed to go find out what common food allergies I have.. on my own. Like, I thought I was paying him money to do that kinda stuff for me ! Its a shame how doctors who're supposed to dispense care and concern along with medicines and all dont seem to give two hoots anymore. I'm pretty sure they didnt enter the profession in that aloof, callous manner. (Or maybe they did)

Well.

Throat's feeling pretty good today praise God ! For a period it seemed like no amount of Strepsils/lozenges were gonna make it better. And the sausage-like toe I got from Sunday's bball session is all better now too. (: (:

So good to blog about my health getting better for a change. Ahah.

Am learning to have a more balanced perspective and understanding of God, that its not all just about love and blessings and all that fluff and stuff we like to hear, but learning to accept and be receptive to things that we dont like/want to, but need to hear sometimes. Cant say Ive been listening all the time, but I'm trying to be less self-absorbed and listen to stuff that isnt easy to swallow.

Got 2 sleepovers coming up soon, cant wait :D Then it'll be school again, kinda waiting to relish the challenge of it (one of the few downsides of the holidays).
