oh we're not the same

Something Ive been thinking about lately:

Love doesnt just take time.
It takes effort that doesnt always pay off, patience and not mere tolerance, perseverance in believing in the best of the person, acceptance that isnt always accompanied by understanding, security in the promise even in the person's physical absence..

But in the efforts made there is much joy,amidst patience and perseverance there is a steadfastness that holds true, in accepting the other you silently acknowledge that it really isnt all about rational thought, and the trust in the promise made is one that stands unwavering above inevitable disappointments, hurts and quarrels.

There's so much more than that, I know, but that's all I could think up for now. (yes I wrote this myself)

Long day out tomorrow (and probably for most of the coming week) ! Hoping I'll be getting more than 6 hours of sleep per day..
