fess up

Something I just have to share. Taken from a blog of a friend I respect. (:

people are such funny creatures. we all chase and pursue different things, hoping to be exceptional, to be special, to be a cut above the rest, to have that x-factor; but the sad truth is that we are all chasing after one another. we don't want to be special. we want to be more special than that guy in front of us. we don't want to be happy. we want to be happier than the girl in front of us. we are all chasing each other, believing that this is what life is meant to be. but what we don't know is that, we have all been intoxicated with lies and marijuana. believing we can fly, when actually who cares about whether you can fly or not, if you are just a cockroach with wings.

That's good food for thought. Hmm.
