been drivin' on this road too long
You make me smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smileeeeee.Anyone who didnt know better would think we were lesbian. (What a joke that would be. Nyahaha.)
Blogged this on lj, but its something I'd wanna share with yall too. (:
I was just letting my thoughts cruise around randomly (as usual) and I realised something quite cool.
Everyone close to me knows I love art (though I'm not exactly talented, hurrrr sometimes I wonder if I'm forcing myself into something I suck at zz and if youre reading this and going like huhhhh you like art ?! you deserve 7 kicks in the head) especially photography. And I thought about the amazing pictures Ive seen people take, the awesome ones I put as my wallpaper and stuff and it suddenly strikes me like a whiplash on a schoolboy's butt that every photograph, every picture captured of nature or people, every beautiful frame was a moment of magic conjured by God probably two gazillion years ago when he was wiggling his toes after he got bored with creating the world.
At that thought, I secretly scoffed at every photographer carting around their DSLRs with some bigass lens trying to get the big break of their lifetime capturing some phenomenal shot and I think to myself, all we/they (YES me included) do is capture snippets, fragments, tips of the icebergs of the true beauty that God weaves anew every single day. AND thats only if we get lucky and stand at the right angle, get the right amount of light, get the shutter speed and the focus and every other teeny annoying detail right.
God doesnt need all that fancy shmancy mojo.
And I daresay every sunset, every sunrise, every star-studded or moonlit sky is different and special in its own way.
Smiles to self* Isnt God awesome ?
God ! Flails arms* Be my art teacher !
